okay, really. i swear. this is the last comment. (i really need to learn to make sure i thought of everything before i hit that "publish your comment" button, don't i?)
i wanted to say, this was a really cool post to find, because earlier today, i posted on "It's Just How . . ." about this very same subject—only not my words, but the very eloquent words of C. S. Lewis. but it so goes with the theme of your post. check it out. warning: if you are like me, you will have to read his thoughts once or twice—he's just so . . . well, deep!
:)
okay, i promise, i'm done—that is until the next post.
so glad you have started a photo blog!!! can you tell?
Wow, Georgia! You remind me of my sister. Always takes forever for her to hang up the phone.
Haha, just kidding. Thank you so much. Let's see, where should I start?
Firstly, I'm honored to be on your blogroll! I'm so glad someone's actually seeing what I post now!
Secondly, thank you for your compliments on the poem. Wrote it this morning while trying to think of something to go with the picture.
And the picture I used for the banner is of the Puget Sound from the deck of a ferry. And I bet you'll never guess what took that image. Cell phone. :) Yeah, I'm pretty sure if you took a picture of the Sound with a stamp-sized polaroid camera, it would still look breathtaking. (Can you tell I like the Northwest?)
Also, I'm not sure how much I'll actually be able to post. I use an old film camera, and film can get a bit spendy after a while. But I probably have enough pictures taken so far to last a month if I posted a picture every day.
Last, but not least, thank you SO MUCH for pointing me to the post you put up with the C.S. Lewis excerpt. That was very thought-provoking, and I enjoyed it immensely.
I hope that's all. Oh, just watch, I'll forget something too. ;)
no way! you took that with your phone? maybe you should just use your phone for all you pictures! then they will all be digital. problem solved!
one of my friends has the new iPhone. i just can't believe the quality of the pictures it can take! and it has so many bells and whistles—effects that you can apply that can make the pictures really cool, too.
well, regardless of how many pictures you post or how often you post, i am glad to see you started this blog.
i will be here every time you put something new up.
